Who I Am and Where I Come From.
Some time ago, in a process of order and expansion for my business, the two women who today support me with everything related to marketing shared with me a form to get to know me better. One of the questions said:
"What aspects of your own personal story or process do you feel differentiate you from other coaches or creators in this space?"
I thought it would be a simple question, but answering it was a catharsis, a very powerful autobiographical exercise. When I finished, I knew that the answer revealed something real about who I am and from where I do what I do.
So I decided that the most coherent and honest thing to do was to leave here that answer as I wrote it that day. If you want to know who I am and what makes me different, this text explains it in the best way:
I believe that what sets me apart comes from the sum of "many lives in one". I come from engineering and the aeronautical world, from a logical, analytical and rigorous way of thinking. My mind is trained to observe patterns, correlate data and always look for the evidence behind the process. That scientific root accompanies me in everything I do: I like to understand how the body works, how it adapts, how it expresses itself. But then I learned that this technical vision only makes sense when coupled with the human experience.
I am passionate about technology, I have naturally integrated it into my approach. I enjoy keeping myself updated on tools applied to well-being and performance: from brain training with biofeedback (Muse Headband), through HRV (heart rate variability) to sleep quality. I try to be discerning in the midst of the current revolution in the wearables market and the major disruption in consumer behavior. I advocate not to delegate to devices the perception of the body, but to strengthen body awareness through them. I believe that technology should be a complementary tool, never a substitute for inner connection. I know many protocols, methodologies and biohacks - I have tested, studied and appliedthem -and that allows me to clearly see both their benefits and their limits.
In addition, I love mental training. I design and share tools to cultivate a solid and flexible mindset, and to reprogram patterns when necessary. I am passionate about speaking directly to neural circuits, creating new pathways of thought and perception that help us align mind and body. I believe in applied neuroplasticity: that the mind can become our most powerful ally.
I worked in large corporations such as Airbus and GSK, I was an entrepreneur and for a decade I ran my own company, I knew firsthand what it means to sustain high levels of demand, stress, travel and responsibility. I made all the mistakes that today I promote to avoid or transform: overwork, lack of rest, loss of joy for what I loved. From that stage, I was left with gray hair, yes, but also a deep understanding of the price that is paid when energy is not well managed. That's why today I integrate the science of performance with the wisdom of health, applying what I learned both in sports and at work: real success depends on our ability to sustain ourselves, not just to perform.
Sport has been my laboratory, my space and school. I have been practicing endurance disciplines for years and I have experienced in the flesh both its lights and shadows. I have felt the fulfillment of surpassing myself, but also the disconnection of demanding myself beyond what is healthy. I have known the satisfaction of achieving goals and the recognition it brings, but also the silent emptiness of living only for results. That experience allowed me to understand that training is not only about improving numbers, but also about relating to the body as an ally and finding in movement a space for self-knowledge, energy and balance. I am not talking about what I read and learned in certifications, but about what I lived and practice today.
Over time, this path also led me to become certified as an Endurance Sports Coach, not to accumulate titles, but to deepen methodologies that I was already living in the flesh.
There was also a deeper turning point: the loss of my younger brother, at the age of 27, a grief that led me to a stage of depression and existential questioning. From that process a different sensibility was born in me, I understood life from a broader perspective. Added to this were personal moments of great emotional impact, such as a divorce and the physical distance from my daughters, who moved to Germany. Going through these processes - being a parent from a distance, sustaining the bond, accepting vulnerability and not running away from pain - opened me to a different kind of empathy. I have gone through difficult situations without trying to cover them up or turn the page quickly; I have always sought to understand, feel and learn from what hurts. I believe that it is precisely for this reason that today I can accompany people with great humanity in their processes.
Studying quantum physics opened a door between science and spirituality, led me back to the University (International Quantum University for Integrative Medicine), to train as a Health Coach and Essential Life Coach. I see both dimensions - the material and the transcendental - as one and the same continuum: the physical body and energy, mind and consciousness, action and attention or presence.
Ultimately, I believe I am distinguished by the consistency between my message and my practice.
I do not promote anything that I have not first needed and applied in myself. I have been the rational engineer, the burned-out entrepreneur, the disconnected athlete, and the man who had to cry, lean on psychologists and psychiatrists, medicate himself out of a hole, and finally learn to listen and team up with his body to get back to peace.
Everything I teach is born from that experience, and from the genuine desire for people to live well: not only to perform better, but to find harmony, purpose and well-being in everything they do.
"To continue to grow as a person - that's what I feel Tony has accomplished in me. I've never felt so in balance in my life."
"Tony's methodology goes far beyond training: it integrates the mindset and the human side of performance."
"What makes Tony different from other coaches I've worked with is his ability to see the whole person."
